Duties of current occupation
Training in both dressage and h/j. Difficult horse specialty. Instruction of beginners to intermediate dressage riders and beginner to advanced h/j.
Equine work experience
Rider and competitor for 20 years. Groom, barn manager, trainer, instructor, in-hand compeitor.
Specialities
Hunter/jumper instruction and training with an emphasis on equitation and proper form. Dressage instruction and training with an emphasis on self carriage and balance. I do not use quick train methods, more of a classical approach. Difficult to train or "problem" horses are a specialty as well. Preparation for in-hand competition and keuring both stock horse and warmblood.
Type of ride work
Flat, jumping, dressage, h/j, ground driving, in-hand, trail or hack. Minimal fox hunting experience.
Competition details
Showing AQHA, APHA, PtHA, USDF and USEF h/j. National title on Paso Fino. West Coast Oldenburg Reserve Champion young horse trainer and handler. Numerous scores in the 70's in dressage to 2nd level. Mini-Prix competition in Jumpers.
