Job Description

IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME JOB. There will be plenty of FREE TIME to explore and enjoy.
We are very flexible about working hours and expect some flexibility from you as well as there will be days you are on your own.
You will be part of a team of friends who respect each other and who help where necessary.

Main tasks include:
Farm sitting, grooming horses and dogs, mucking out, feeding, keeping the yard clean, in summer helping with haying, in winter clearing snow,...

Just giving a helping hand without being asked would be much appreciated :-)

Looking for someone long-term

Requirements

I`m looking for an animal loving person, non smoking, where I can count on and who I can trust.
Other skills required:
independent, flexible, experienced with horses and dogs, interested in natural horsemanship, you can take care of yourself and you are kind of handy as well (ex. fixing a fence, changing a lamp ;-))

Definitely a plus:
driver`s license and own car
basic german language skills or you want to learn some (in case of emergency, knowing a few words in german is necessary)

Accommodation

Own room and own bathroom in our farm. You live with us an can use all other facilities, kitchen, living room,... English, german television, internet,...

Benefits

You will work in a beautiful country with nice people (32 and 36 years). No stress and lots of leisure time. Skiing and snowboarding facilities nearby. You can learn parelli natural horsemanship (home study program) and if you are a good rider, you may also ride my 2 Friesian mares.
You get lodging and full board provided. And we will treat you with some extras of course (ex... going out dining, relaxing day at a wellness center, afternoon skiing...)

The Facility

Private barn in the Tyrolean mountains with 3 horses, 2 ponies, 2 dogs and 2 cats
Our farm is located close to the German border, on 800m and in the middle of the woods. Nature pure :-)
We have 2,5 Ha of Pasture, and a 15 x 30 Paddock.
The horses are:
23 year old warmblood
6 and 10 year old Friesian mares, Parelli Level 1 and unfortunately not been ridden often
2 Shetties

We speak Dutch, French, English, German :-)
