Lime Country Thoroughbreds, based in the Hunter Valley, are looking for an experienced stud groom for three-to-six-month positions which may roll over into the 2023 breeding and/or yearling prep season. Our team members enjoy a diverse range of work and the opportunity to be involved and grow your skill set across all aspects of the farm, from dry mares to postnatal care, wet mares and foals, through to yearling preparation. Those interested in yearling prep, work will work in our brand-new 30-horse barn and supporting facilities. Hours over the winter months are 7am to 4 pm based on a fortnightly roster with three days off per fortnight. Accommodation and power are provided as part of the package. We are looking for those who are committed to doing a great job. People who take pride in the care and presentation of all stock on the farm and want to work somewhere that doesn’t run huge numbers. A place where attention to detail counts and individual effort is noticed and rewarded accordingly. You will need to be a team player who enjoys their work, likes to have fun, is a good communicator, and has excellent attention to detail.
