I have a small mixed yard and am looking for help with all aspects of the Riding School/ Young stock/
Competition Horses and ponies. Usual yard duties. Catching, Tacking and Grooming Ponies. Assisting Pupils. Prior to, during and after lessons. Tack Cleaning. Holding horses for Farrier/ Vet and for Clipping. For experienced Riders, you will also get to ride. Help needed handling and training foals to lead, and some handling and leading of yearlings, and two year olds. Assist in the early breaking of 2 , 3yr olds. If capable you could be riding some young competition Ponies/ Horses. Note. I have mostly have Ponies and smaller horses and young horses. There will be more riding available for those under 60kg.
You do need to be fit and strong enough to Pike in Hay and clean stables and capable of emptying a full wheelbarrow. Other duties will involve sweeping, racking up leaves. Powerhosing. Cleaning and tidying.
