Position open for a yard staff member for a stable in Trim, Co Meath. We have 6 full time residents - 2 ponies, 2 dressage horses and 2 sport horses One pony is retired and one dressage horse is semi retired.

We take really good care of the horses (they are all very much loved); facilities are super clean and easy to work around. Solarium and hot water. All stables are on 'soft-stall' floors which makes mucking out a breeze. Horses get turnout every day.

We are also a horse flight agent, so we also have a 'horse hotel' which is used once a week. This is for the export horses that are gathered together to one point to enjoy a comfortable stay overnight before starting their journey to USA every Saturday. You wouldn't be left to do this alone - there is always a second person on duty for the Saturday, which is our busy day.

So although Saturday tends to be the busier day with the USA horses in the departure lounge stable, during the week comprises of daily care of the permanent residents and general upkeep of our facility.

It is a really pleasant stable to work in and we have a great team of people.

Candidates should be: Kind and caring with the horses, work efficiently, use own initiative, punctual, reliable, upbeat and have ability to work alongside another colleague on the yard.
