• Teaching riding lessons in a safe, progressive and enjoyable manner for all levels of rides from Beginner Courses up to Novice. • Preparing students for monthly competitions and assist them on show days. • Actively encourage students to become more involved in the Riding Academy through Pony Academy, additional lessons, leases and competing at shows. • Ensure rider lists and colour levels are maintained and reviewed quarterly. • Complete rider assessments of new riders, teach beginner courses. • Participate in clinics to develop riding and teaching skills. • Report issues regarding horse behavior or welfare to Lead Instructor • Complete accident reports in a timely and accurate manner for filing – action any recommendations for Lead Instructor immediately. • Conduct pony camps • Teach regular or ad-hoc lessons outside of normal teaching hours with overtime compensation • Assist with competitions including arena setup, arena tasks and stewarding.

The Singapore Polo Club is the premier equestrian facility in South East Asia, a long-established members’ polo and riding club located in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
With an active equestrian community of casual as well as many competitive riders, the club has 45 club-owned school horses, and 25 privately owned horses in the riding section, as well as a polo section of 150 horses. More than 300 members regularly take riding lessons: beginners up to PSG level dressage and 1.20 show jumping, as well as competing in monthly shows on the premises.
