Summerfield Stables is a registered charity in Hall Green Birmingham working with rescued and reschooled horses and ponies. We offer work experience opportunities and work placements for college and university students and also a voluntary skills development program and opportunities to train towards British Horse Society qualifications. We a BHS approved centre for both training and exams. We regularly run exams up to Stage 3 care and we would be interested in welcoming more volunteers to our team. If you are looking for more experience with horses or looking to upskill or retrain then we may be able to help. Anyone working with young people will require a DBS check.
