We are looking for an experienced person to look after our private yard and horses and run our rehabilitation centre, which also takes in outside horses. There may be occasional Rehab liveries that will come in for a week or two. We also have a large indoor arena, where we host events, and this must be maintained. The role will suit a well organised, knowledgeable person, happy with sole charge, sometimes working alone and sometimes working with others in the rehab centre, in an interesting and fulfilling job. It is varied and will include daily chores of mucking out, grooming and turning out, etc, The yard is American style barns with automatic water, all on concrete with a mini tractor and trailer for mucking out, horse walker and many other luxuries not always found on yards! Initiative and the ability to take charge in order to ensure the well being of the horses and maintain the standards required are essential! It is a non riding job, although there could be some light hacking on the farm if that is something you like to do! Job start date December 2nd or as soon as possible after.
