Polo, Hunting & Team-chase yard looking for long-term live in/out full-time Yard Manager/Head Groom.
Private, friendly yard based on the edge of Cirencester Park with fantastic hacking and excellent on-site facilities.
The job is split into two seasons with the polo during the summer where approximately 15 ponies are split between 3 grooms. During the winter you will be in sole charge of 2 hunters/team chase horses with holiday and days off covered by freelance part-time staff. There is also a small number of broodmares and youngsters in addition to our competition horses.
All usual duties to include exercising, feeding, mucking out, grooming, travel to and from games/team chases, tacking up and basic veterinary care.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up or equally for someone who wants variety in their equine role. Both previous grooms in this position have had lengthy working periods and references can be provided.

Requirements
