Little Munden Equestrian is seeking a full-time groom for our highly commended livery yard located within minutes of the M25 in Bricket Wood, between Watford and St Albans. • 5 day week (on a 7 day rolling rota) • Salary well over industry standards. (over £25K plus lessons, training, discounted health-care) • 28 days paid holiday • Contracted full time position, yard duties plus riding/ground working lovely horses. This is not just a mucking out job (average 6 per day)! • 7.15am to 5pm with breakfast and long lunchbreak. • Uniform provided • Live in (rent free). • Cheerful staff team, lovely livery owners and a wide range of type of horses to work with. We are a high standard professional yard, applicants must have already the skill set for handling horses and working on yards.
The staff team work a 5 day week on a 7 day rolling rota. 7.15am start to 5pm finish with multiple breaks during the day.
Regular riding: You need to be able to ride with a balanced seat and light hands, knowledge of lateral work would be helpful, schooling on the flat, hacking and working horses from the ground.
Free accommodation, in a shared farmhouse on site for a non-smoking person, utility bills and wi-fi cost shared between the live-in staff. Sorry no pets in the farmhouse and no space for staff horses, non-smokers only. Sorry but we are unable to support UK Working Visa applications.

Requirements
This job is available due to the restructuring of our staff team, due to the number of horses we have to exercise each day. You need to be cheerful, team player, reliable and happy to work in all weathers. Being coachable, dedicated and have a love of horses is more important than qualifications. Under 75kg (in ratio to height) due to the horses we have to exercise. You need to be able to ride with a balanced seat and light hands, knowledge of lateral work would be helpful. Immediate start available but will wait for the right person.
Accommodation
Own room in free accommodation is available in a shared farmhouse on site for a non-smoking person, utility bills and wi-fi cost shared between the live-in staff. Sorry no pets in the farmhouse and no space for staff horses. No Smokers in the accommodation.
