We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivational young person (17-19 years) to assist with the daily running of the yard. This opportunity is perfect for someone who prefers a more hands on way of gaining a qualification rather than the college route and a chance to gain the experience and skills employers want to succeed in the industry earning whilst you train. Applicants can choose from Breeding or riding pathways, however whichever pathway you choose you will be involved in all aspects of the yard from foaling mares to backing and show preparation and everything else in between.
A good level of riding is preferable for this position as there will be riding opportunities for applicants with a suitable level of riding Training on such a large diverse yard means that no two days are the same and gives you the experience and skills employers want. We have over 20 years history of training apprentices to go onto top positions in the industry This is an unique opportunity to get paid whilst you gain qualifications, and would be perfect for someone with some experience who wants to gain qualifications to go with that experience. Full training and funding for Advanced Senior Groom apprenticeship as well as other add on qualifications. Apprentice wages would apply, apprentice registered through Haddon Training with full Contract of employment
