Here at Middleton Livery we are looking for another groom to join our existing great team.

Finding conscientious grooms who are passionate about caring for horses, who have an eye for detail and enjoy the duties involved in caring for them is like looking for rocking horse poo!

Mature type attitude, self motivated person required to cover all yard duties taking care of livery clients requirements for their horses.

Duties will involve, taking care of 6-8 horses, turning out, mucking out to a high standard, skipping out, bringing in, tack cleaning and exercising horses on the walker. An eye for details and a tidy yard attitude a must, as client's horses are VIPs here. You will need to be hardworking and have a friendly, pleasant disposition.

A key quality is to be self driven, ensuring all duties are carried out meticulously. We run a very reputable livery business and our reputation is important to us. The yard has a nice environment with a full range of facilities. You would be working with a great team of people.

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. This is for a 5 day week Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday off. You will be asked to cover occasional weekend days if another member of the team is unable to work or on holiday.

Your own horse would be welcome if there is a stable available.

A good rate of pay based on experience and age.
