Part Time Groom A fantastic opportunity to work on a professional showjumping yard in the Surrey Hills. We are seeking a very valued team member who takes pride in their work and prioritises the care of the horses.
To include all normal stable duties mucking out, lunging, tacking up, horses on/off walker, turning out, clipping and day to day running of the yard. โ Some riding available if competent with fit and unpredictable competition horses (optional) โ We travel to UK and International shows including tours throughout Europe. This can be a more home based role if preferred. โ Must be confident handling fit competition horses / stallions and able to take sole charge at times. โ We are looking for someone enthusiastic, has a passion for horses, 100% reliable and hardworking to join our fun friendly team. Good common sense ๐ โ Day are slightly flexible and can be discussed but could be either mornings or afternoons Mornings 7.30am until 12.30pm Afternoons 2.30pm until 5pm Previous staff members recommend and have generally stayed a number of years โ A working couple considered (both parties would need to be employed even if not both working on the yard)** Travel to day shows and water treadmills visits. Our local show centres are Coombelands, Hickstead, Felbridge & Hascombe.
