To join the team in the Hampshire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire areas.
You will be required to:
• Coach learners on the 2 equine apprenticeship standards; Equine Groom (EG) and Senior Equine Groom (SEG).
• Carry out learner inductions, initial assessments and reviews in the workplace including delivery of content in partnership with employers.
• Attend quarterly standardisation sessions and keep CPD up to date.
• Update the programme manager regularly or as directed on apprentice progress including gateway timings, completions and EPA dates.
• Provide support and assistance to learners as they go through their Functional Skills, including implementing action plans provided by the FS tutor.
You will need: • Proven record of work in the equine sector • Qualified or experienced Coach in the workplace/FE sector (apprenticeship training will be provided) • Excellent communication, ICT and administrative skills • A positive can-do attitude, with the ability to influence and develop effective working relationships with learners, employers and colleagues
