People can have a job, a career, or a calling. Looking for folks who have a calling. Work, play, learn, struggle and grow in a vibrant community this summer facilitating the growth of children, yourself and others in the community. Just because you can get a job at any camp, doesn’t mean that you want a job at any camp. Different than most camps because we operate on a structure of flat hierarchy, consensus and intention with every action. We also have many activities that you are unlikely to find at other camps.

We have six sessions during our season, 3 one week and 3 two week, with 100 campers (aged 8-16) each session. Our staff training begins on May 13th, and the main season runs through August 9th. We aim to give children the experience of living without many of the modern conveniences that are present in their everyday lives. They get the chance to experience living in an open-air cabin without electricity. There are no televisions or stereos so they make their own music.

Equestrian Director.
Our equestrian program is small, 9 horses. We teach predominantly Western riding with a small amount of English and offer both trail rides and basic arena work. The Equestrian Director leads program development and delivery working alongside the Assistant Equestrian Director. In addition to running our program they are responsible for feeding & mucking as well as general herd maintenance. CHA certification (or ability to obtain) or 3+ years leading a similar program required.

We are a non-profit summer camp for boys and girls ages 6-16. We have a small equestrian program (12 horses), mainly focused on Western riding, trail rides, and horse care with a sprinkling of English riding...a pretty typical summer camp program.

We need someone extremely excited to be working with campers at a summer camp. CHA certification is a plus, but not necessary.

Summer camps come in so many varieties, we'd like you to take a look at our camp and program to make sure we are a good fit. We have lots of information on our site including the brief job description.

Please contact us before completing the application if you are interested in this position.
