We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) to join our dynamic team as a Lead Instructor and assist us in developing future PATH professionals. The ideal candidate will have PATH CTRI certification (Master level preferred), at least 5 years of experience teaching therapeutic horsemanship lessons, a passion for teaching, mentoring and working with individuals with disabilities, and significant equestrian experience. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and conduct Therapeutic Riding lessons teaching individuals with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities utilizing PATH methods and standards
  2. Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each participant
  3. Supervise, provide guidance and mentorship to individuals seeking to become CTRI
  4. Ensure the Therapeutic Program lessons meet or exceed the standards set by PATH and CHP
  5. Foster a positive and inclusive culture among our CTRI team, promoting teamwork and collaboration

Requirements
  1. PATH certification at the CTRI or Master Level
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Therapeutic Horsemanship; knowledge of therapeutic horsemanship standards and practices
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment; strong team collaboration skills
  5. Demonstrated commitment to PATH safety standards and participant enjoyment in equestrian settings
  6. CPR and First Aid certification
