We are seeking an experienced and dedicated person to join our team at a private farm. The farm has yearlings, weanlings, broodmares, and riding horses for hunter/jumpers. Duties include feeding, mucking, turnout, grooming, holding for farrier/vet, basic barn cleaning, and other farm-related tasks. Additionally, the right candidate could also work with the young horses.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience with horses is required
• Able to drive tractors/ manure spreaders (required)
• Must be fluent in English
• Independent, self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Must have reliable transportation if local (or housing can be provided for 1 person--not set up for families)
• Monday-Saturday
• non-smoker

This is an independent contractor position and the pay is based on experience. Housing is available on the farm in a new 28' camper. The farm is a quiet and low drama environment, offering a great opportunity for the right candidate to work with wonderful horses on a gorgeous farm located 10 min from downtown lexington KY
