We are a small, hunter/jumper farm located in West Amwell, NJ. Our farm is dedicated to providing exceptional care for our horses and offering a safe, clean and supportive environment for our clients. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and help maintain the high standards of our operation.

The Assistant Manager will support the Trainer in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the well-being of the horses and the smooth running of the farm. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of horse care, and the ability to manage staff and facilities effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Horse Care:

   • Assist in the daily feeding, grooming, and exercise routines for horses.
   • Oversee and coordinate the health care of horses.
   • Monitor and address any signs of illness or injury.

2. Facility Management:

   • Ensure that stalls, paddocks, and other facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
   • Manage the inventory of supplies.

3. Staff Supervision:

   • Assist in the training and supervision of barn staff and stable hands.
   • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

4. Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of horse health, training schedules, and other relevant data.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in horse care and stable management.
• Strong knowledge of equine health and behavior.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to supervise and motivate staff.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
