Full time live-in internship or working student apprenticeship available in Nottingham, PA this Summer and could continue on into the Autumn.
Internship opportunity to get college credits. Our interns and apprentices have built successful equine businesses as well as gone on to be professionals in other industries.
Necessary skills are to be hard working and curious, have a desire to learn, ride at least jumping 2'6" and training level dressage and have a basic knowledge of horse care and handling.
This is a hands on position, with a lot of grooming, handling and riding. We have great folks who muck for us so that is not a job for our working students.
Most of our horses are on the younger side, so applicants need to be aware and able to deal with horses that are more youthful in their attitudes and need a calm and thoughtful approach to being handled
Daily lessons, 6 days a week, a break for lunch. You do NOT need a horse for this position. Housing and board for one horse included. Stipends are available as well
We compete most weekends, so you have the opportunity to learn about what goes into showing horses, braiding, packing the trailer, show prep, etc.
We are also an active sales and training facility so you be included in training from foals on up, including long lining, natural horsemanship, starting horses over fences and continuing education with jumping and cross country schooling.

Equestrian Employer Details
We are an active training and sales farm in Nottingham, Pennsylvania and Aiken, South Carolina.
Courtney is a 5* level competitor with a busy training stable of both her own and other horses to compete. In addition to a competitive sales and training program domestically, (CSquareFarm.com) Courtney also breeds her own horses and imports from overseas, importing between 35-55 horses per year (ExcelStarSportHorses.com).
The Pennsylvania farm is 20 acres with housing for 19 horses and staff housing with Wifi, central heat and air conditioning and lovely views.
The Aiken farm is also 20 acres with housing for staff and horses, and camper hook ups. We have spacious turnouts, unlimited hacking, a beautiful cross country field and a large (250 x 250) GGT arena.
