I have owned and worked with horses with a passion for the sport. I have previously volunteered from 14years old at a riding school to working 3 days a week in charge of the running of the yard. Including preparing feeds and medications to daily turnout and tacking up for daily lessons. I also dealt with any equine first aid including cleaning wounds, bandaging and dealing with the vet or farrier. I have experience handling a range of breeds especially naughty Shetland ponies. I have been part of a Shetland stud being a groom at horse shows across the UK and Scotland handling foals, colts and yearlings.

I have ridding a range of riding school horses from small ponies to 16hh working hunters. These have ranged from well schooled to very green amd doing basic ground work with them. I have broken and backed my own pony who is now on load to young children learning to ride. I have experience in handling wild Shetland ponies from the field halter breaking them for in hand showing this has ranged from mares with foal at foot as well as colts and yearlings.

I have mainly competed in hand showing around the uk and Scotland with large shows including the Great Yorkshire show and the Royal Highland Show.
