I have an Australian Certificate III in racing (stablehand).

Duties of Current Occupation
Stablehand at racing stable, included leading, grooming, tacking up, putting & taking off horse walker, using equine treadmill, mucking out stalls
Equine Work Experience
Been riding since I was 5 so more than 12 years, member of pony club for 10 years, evented up to 80cm and showjumped to 95cm. Ridden a variety of ponies and horses. Have worked at a racing stable part time for 2 years, in that time have ridden some of the older more experienced thoroughbreds on the flat and at the beach.
Type of Ride Work
I have competed in dressage (up to novice), showjumping (up to 95cm) eventing (up to 80cm). Have ridden green/ inexperienced ponies and small horses, however, not completley green broken or freshly started.
Competition Details
I have casually strapped for an event rider at competitions which included cooling down horses after cross country, hosing down, tacking up, plaiting and grooming. I have competed at low level events in south australia consistently for 10 years. I was on the 2023 south Australian interschool team for combined training.
