Duties of Current Occupation
I have extensive experience in horse care, including feeding, mucking out stalls, grooming, and training horses. I've longed, ridden, and even started young horses under saddle. Additionally, I've assisted in teaching riding lessons.
Equine Work Experience
Since I was 5 years old, I have been deeply in love with horses and have had the privilege of experiencing nearly every aspect of their care. From assisting the farrier and deworming to caring for horses with eczema and nursing injured horses back to health, I’ve always been fully involved. I’ve worked with pregnant mares, cared for elderly horses, and helped train young, freshly broken-in horses. My work on a horse farm included grooming, lunging, and riding horses, as well as teaching riding lessons. I’ve also participated in sales shows, competed in tournaments, assisted in organizing events, ridden in horse shows, and worked at various horse camps. My passion has driven me for over 12 years in the saddle, and my experience continues to grow with every new challenge.
Specialities
I have worked with foals, assisting with their care, including deworming and general handling. I’ve also had the unique experience of assisting with a foal birth and helping with the breeding process, aiding in the covering of mares by a stallion.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden Western once, spent a lot of time in dressage, and jumped a few times. However, most of my time has been dedicated to working with Icelandic horses and mastering their unique riding techniques
Competition Details
I have participated in small competitions, but I also worked as a competition groom for my riding instructor at the Lower Austrian Championships. I've presented many horses at sales shows, not just preparing them but also riding them. Additionally, I had the privilege of riding in a horse show with an audience of 2,000 spectators.
