Riding work 4x a week. Attend the Thoroughbred Racing Development Centre 2x a week (Work Riders License). Work from home as a bookie on the Derivatives Trading desk in the Financial Markets. Compete 2x showjumping horses. 3rd year BCom Accounting.

I have worked in professional equestrian environments my whole life. I worked in a dealing stable in the Netherlands for 8 months and covered all areas from grooming to riding and competing, and personal dealings with clients when selling horses. I have been involved in the racing industry in South Africa for years, attending auctions/race days/track to watch the horses train and for the past 6 months as an aspiring jockey with 100% win rate having won my debut race on L'Ormarins Kings Plate day. I run and manage my own yard for my showjumping horses.

I have experience working with young horses including colts, fillies and geldings. I have experience showjumping for 22 years, from recently backed young horses to experienced horses. I have competed up to the 1.40m classes in Showjumping. I began riding racehorses in September 2023, within 4 months I obtained my work riders license and rode my first race (L'Ormarins King's Plate) which I won!

I have experience riding and working with problem horses, green horses, young horses, unraced horses, maidens and experienced horses. I have knowledge and experience in showjumping and dressage/flatwork. I have experience in producing horses. I have produced a number of young horses (warmbloods and thoroughbreds off the track) as show jumpers. I have experience in work riding and race riding.

I am an experienced lifelong competitive show jumper. I have competed in a horse race on a prestigious race day in South Africa (L'Ormarins Kings Plate)
