Duties of Current Occupation
Grooming and feeding of horses Training little kids (teaching to tack up, groom and basic walk and trot) Taking out trail rides with clients Grooming and plaiting for competitions Work riding multiple horses daily
Equine Work Experience
I have completed a complete grooms course here in south africa. I have been coached by many top showjumpers in south africa and a few international coaches. I have been yard manager at my current yard for the past year. I have also volunteered at a yard with people who had disabilities.
Specialities
I've worked with foals, young horses(mostly colts) and with high value competition horses. I am quick at mucking out, grooming and basic yard chores. I am very good with clients and always hold myself and the yard to a high standard. I have worked with my 2 off the track thoroughbreds too and produced them into 1.20 showjumpers.
Type of Ride Work
I have no issues when working with young and inexperienced horses. I have also worked alongside trainers with "problem" horses. I am an avid showjumper but I do have experience with eventing as well. I have started multiple young horses for their careers in showjumping.
Competition Details
I have competed up to 1.20m in graded showjumping (in south africa) And have done some upgraded eventing shows. I have been competing since the age of 14, but currently only have youngsters so competitions have taken a back burner until they are further along in their schooling.
