I believe I have an NVQ in horse care and stable management from many years ago.

I've worked with horses in Costa rica, ecuador and Ethiopia. In Ethiopia our studies were conducted on horseback so riding was hard and we faced alot of challenges. I've done experienced multi day horse treks in Wales and Morrocco. Both required us to look after our own horses in very challenging conditions whilst exhausted. In Spain I worked training and exercising private horses alongside running a cattery. They were a traditional yard, so I used traditional techniques, but I prefer a more wholesome, positive technique using trust and confidence within the partnership.

I've worked leading horse treks in Costa Rica. I was responsible for the care and foaling of 4 broodmares and 2 stallions in Ecuador. I was also responsible for their training. I worked in a dressage yard and for redwings horse sanctuary several years ago.

I love trail riding, and leading them. I like showing guests natural wonders around them and pointing out specific animals if they want. Or talk to them about the area so they can know it more. Or I'm happy to let then br quiet. It's their time, and I'm happy to be chatty and bouncy or quiet and calm.

When I owned my own horse we went to jumping shows. We also took place in a dressage competition. Both local, not accredited.
