Duties of Current Occupation
Muck out, rug, feed and groom the horses at the livery yard, some riding livery and clients horses for fitness & training and breaking in young stock &furthering back youngsters education. Both requires sole charge of yard and to work as a team
Equine Work Experience
I have worked at silligrove livery farm for 4 years now, around my studies at equine university. Whilst at university I assisted on the therapy yard there for the duration of my course(3 years) and was a “barn mentor” for 2 of the three years I was at the university. I was also given the opportunity to groom at competitions for many of the liveries I came into contact with. Previous to this I did some work at local riding schools whilst studying my GCSEs.
Specialities
Can muck-out stalls and turnout to a high standard, and have been a barn mentor at hartpury where I was to maintain yard rules and cleanliness and so have developed a keen eye to help keep yards tidy and professional.
some experience working as a laborer so able to carry out light handy work and repairs around the yard
Type of Ride Work
I have spent the years at university riding competitive horses and training green horses, this time Includes producing my own 17’2 warm blood, Previous to this I had experience working with the green horses at riding schools and took on a few local clients whose horses were proving too much for them to train. I also have broken in and trained youngsters. I also have experience with breaking in single carriage driven horses.

Competed you to 1m10 Showjumping, 90 BE and elementary dressage, training movements up to medium and fences up to 1m20
