Duties of Current Occupation
Stable hand on a livery yard, typical daily duties.
Groom / Stable hand on a Race & Showjumping yard. Including show preparation & grooming. Handling race horses, breakers, foals, showjumpers and sales horses. Some riding.
Equine Work Experience
- Broke in a 5 year old arab using natural horsemanship, currently producing for endurance, inhand showing, trek and dressage.
- Currently training a 2 year old, natural horsemanship / BHS.
- Experience clipping all kinds of horses, from quiet ponies to sharp racehorses.
- Ridden a vast variety of horses of differing temperament, ability and training.
Specialities
Worked with foals, breakers and stallions. Lead a team of younger workers through daily duties. Presenting high standards in all my work. Experience backing and breaking multiple horses, as well as developing green horses inhand and undersaddle.
Type of Ride Work
Variety of riding school horses, youngstock, in training racehorses and sales horses. Low level all round. At home SJ and XC experience.
Competition Details
Worked as a competition groom for a showjump / race yard. Assisted in comprehensively preparing horses beforehand, at the show and aftercare. Rode at Devon County in a group drill ride. Some low level at home competitions in SJ, inhand showing and dressage.
