Polo yard, 100 horses. Turn out and stabled. 7 horses sole charge on weekly rotation. 2/3 private client horses. Fittening/ponying. Some schooling. Sorting/cleaning tack. Preparing horses for Chukkas/matches , stick and bal,, universi/private lessons

Member of the Suffolk Hunt Pony Club as a child/teen .Hunting. Hunter trails etc. Basic equine first aid, bandaging, plaiting, trim/pull, etc. Have experience with differentr breeds. I have always used a snaffle on my horse.. Riding a friend's homebred endurance horse in a hackamore. To date, I have worked on Polo yards, a holiday trekking yard abroad and a private hunt yard as well as the usual riding stables and livery yards..

Optimising fitness, heealth and happiness of the horse. Long natural rides in the countryside. Natural affinity with horses. Inttuitive, meticulous and thoughtful. Happy working alone. Other animals and other tasks welcome. Keen to broaden skills and knowledge in all things rural. Passionate about nature, conservation and wildlife.

I am looking for a rewarding role. Long hacks with slow canters uphill, gentle trotting down slopes. Refresh and develop existing skills, learn to bring on youngsters. Happy to come for a trail. Need time to get to know each horse, their different temperament and capabilities. 5 day week. Accommodation on site. Small team or sole charge. 3 stables max. Rural location essential. Post and rail fencing. Not interested in racing. Not interested in being on a competitive yard.
