Equine Work Experience
10+ years of handling and riding horses at my families farm in Texas, where I also taught beginner riding lessons to children and adults in 2013 and 2014. I helped care for and ride 5-12 horses of various ages, breeds and disciplines.
In 2023 I worked as a riding instructor at an Arabian show barn, where I taught both English and Western styles to students of all ages and experience levels, though most of my students were beginner to intermediate.
Seasonal position in Arizona as an equine caretaker and exercise rider. I was overseeing a private barn with 4 warmbloods. I know basic first aid, I can administer SC, IV and IM shots (mostly with supervision), give oral medication such as bute, banamine and dewormer, groom, clip, muck stalls/paddocks, move hay/feed bags and keep a barn tidy. I am always looking to learn and improve!
Specialities
Limited experience with foals, stallions and broodmares.
