- I'm just looking for a kind, hardworking barn that needs a stable hand and rider to help! I'm open to any type of stable, but prefer an English barn.
Qualifications
I have not completed any college courses or anything specifically around equine management. I have completed a course on Introduction to Veterinary Medicine. My equine knowledge comes from real-life practice or reading in books.

Duties of Current Occupation
In my occupation as a marketing agent, I create graphic designs and informational videos. As a working student, I manage the barn cleanliness, feed, and exercise horses.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked in a small eventing barn for around 7 years now. I started riding there when I was 7 years old, but I started becoming very committed when I was around 9 years old. Throughout my experience, I have learned so many important skills in equine management, mounted work, competition etiquette, as well as being a friendly and hardworking person. I can feed horses using grass hay or alfalfa cube hay, create and feed grains and supplements, and fill the water buckets for horses. I clean up after myself and clean up items others might have missed. I am very experienced and knowledgeable in riding horses. I have worked and competed in multiple different types of competitions throughout my state. I am very determined and hardworking, and I pride myself in the joy I bring to others and the horses.
Specialities
My specialities are keeping the stables a clean and organized workspace. I enjoy keeping the stables, grooming yard, and stalls very clean and neat. If the stable is clean, then the community and horses can work easier and safer. I work very well with people, and am easy to communicate with. I enjoy working in a team, but still hold my work ethic and personal standards. Equine wise, I work easily and calmly with most horses, but I do not have any experience with foals, stallions, or broodmares.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden many different breeds, skill abilities, and conditions of horses. I have ridden breeds from Paints and American Quarters to Arabians and German Sport Ponies. There are so many to name, I cannot fit them all here! I have experience with hot and green horses, and have experience with moderately young horse (7 years). I am most confident in flatwork and jumping up to 2ft 6in (76 cm), but hope to reach 3ft (90 cm) soon. I have experience with simple dressage patterns and eventing.
Competition Details
I have been involved in competition and grooming for competitions. I am a regular shower in hunter-jumper shows, where I show up to the 2ft 3in division (68 cm) and take home many ribbons. I show in unmounted competitions as well, through a local organization that provides in-hand/unmounted training. I have not competed in eventing, but I school cross country frequently in the Beginner-Novice Division and have been a groom for a horse which competed in the Beginner-Novice Division.
