Duties of Current Occupation

I worked as the assistant barn manager as well as my riding teams captain for 2 years in High School. At UCLA, I am currently V.P./co-captain of the UCLA equestrian team. I communicate and delegate tasks within the team and the horses.

Equine Work Experience

I have been riding and working with horses since I was eight years old. I've always done my own grooming at home and competitions, and know basic first aid since I've also owned horses for many years. Most of my experience is in english, but I've done a bit of western as well. I am comfortable working with young/inexperienced horses and helping train them in jumping/lesson programs.

Specialities

I've led a team in High School and currently at University. I have a strong mental and physical work ethic when it comes to all things horses. I specialize in hunter/jumper disciplines.

Type of Ride Work

I've ridden all kinds of horses, including many off-the-track thoroughbreds in the hunters and jumpers. I also have experience with young, green horses. I've done everything from flatwork and hacking to jumps to some western riding and trail guiding/packing.

Competition Details

I started competing in Huntseat, Jumpers, and Equitation competitions when I was 10. I've competed in rated and unrated competitions up through 1.10 in fence height and won various derby and medal classes. I always did all my own grooming and horse care.
