Equine Work Experience
I was born passionate and have 15+ years of horses experience. At age 9 I started taking lessons at a local dressage barn. I was taught that horsemanship is just as important (if not more so) as riding. A lot of my first lessons were about grooming(naming brushes and use) and tacking(how to) before I could ride. Over many years of being involved with horses I have become very experienced in horse care, caring for anywhere between 6-40+ horses at a time. Horse care duties include feeding/watering, turn in/out, cleaning stalls/paddocks/arenas, health checks, grooming and tacking, and engaging in farrier and veterinarian appointments. I also have experience in riding training, breeding, the handling of stallions and young horses, and customer service.
Specialities
1). Animal Care 2). Training & Riding 3). Breeding 4). Handling of young horses & stallions 5). Customer Service
Type of Ride Work
I have the most experience in dressage, and its the foundation of how I ride and train. I also have ridden in jumping(hunters, stadium, cross country), western dressage, reining, trick riding, and have an understanding of cutting. I have done ground work, riding and tune ups for peoples' personal horses and potential lesson horses. I also enjoy liberty work.
Competition Details
I currently have no competition experience, but I am always open to learning.
