Qualifications

I was a part of my University's Thoroughbred Makeover team in 2023, taken equine-related classes while in college, and graduating with an Equine Science degree in May. I also have my certification in Equine Assisted Services with PATH.

Duties of Current Occupation

I have worked in 3 different hospital settings, Johnson Family Equine Hospital CSU Medicine and Surgery Tech. Performance Equine Vets Aiken SC medicine, reproduction, and ambulatory Tech services. Equine Sports Med. Hospital CSU technician role.

Equine Work Experience

USEF Pony Finals in 2016 and 2017, Junior Hunter Finals West 2018, Maclay Finals 2019 and 2020. Working student for trainer 2017-2021. Assistant Hunter Jumper Trainer 2022, Thoroughbred Makeover 2023.

Specialities

I have worked with foals ranging from newborns to days old and stallions in a breeding setting, along with higher-strung racehorses, and also sport horses of all ages. I have been captain of my ISHA team for college and also team captain in high school for IEA. Both having very high results both regionally and nationally for both teams.

Type of Ride Work

I have primarily only done Hunter Jumper, I have a little experience in Eventing as well. I have ridden everything from small ponies to right off-the-track Thoroughbreds, green imports and seasoned show horses. Both flatting and jumping. Hunters, Equitation, Jumpers, dressage, and cross country.

Competition Details

I have competed in USEF, CHJA, ISHJA, and IEA, and I have worked as a working student for a trainer in the past who runs a higher-level competition barn.
