I’ve worked as a full time barn manager, groom, and stable hand, throughout my 7 years in the equine world. In my barn manager position I helped set up and run a new 40+ horse eventing barn, and maintained the property, arena, and fencing.

I’ve been in the equine world for 7 years, and throughout that time I’ve learned how to maintain fencing, work tractors, hook up attachments, water and drag the arena, and work through any problem that arises. I have been riding as a hunter/jumper for most of my career, with a little bit of cross country experience. About a year and a half ago, I got my current horse, a now 8 year old ottb who was very green. Since I got him, I’ve put all the training into him, flat work and jumping, together we’ve made it to the 2’9 EQ division in the local CHJA shows in Colorado.

I’ve mostly ridden hunter/jumpers, and a few eventers, I mainly focus on flatwork when I get to ride other horses, and with my own horse. And I believe flat work is just as important as jumping, so I would love to start training as a eventer, and really focus on the dressage part.

Yes I’ve competed up to 2’9 in local CHJA shows as a EQ rider and Jumper rider, on my own personal horse.
