Duties of Current Occupation
Everything to do with the equine facility. Riding (english, dressage, hunter jumper), mucking, water, feed, starting youngsters, ground work, teaching beginners, giving meds, giving baths, grooming, helping wherever is needed
Equine Work Experience
Majestic Friesians Vermont - 4 years 6 months - Worked with owners to manage 100 Friesian horses and staff. Duties included keeping rack of all horses and making sure exams were executed in a timely fashion including, but not limited to farrier, vet checks, teeth and dewormer. Maintaining all records as required for state and Federal offices as well as for the German Registry. Worked closely with my staff to ensure cleanliness of the barn and tack and made sure horses were fed in a timely fashion. Ordered grain and other medical supplies as needed and made owners aware of when we needed to get loads of hay. Scheduled duties for staff as needed and helped muck, clean water, grain, etc. Gave meds as needed (IV, sub cu or IV). Wrapped legs as requested or needed bu farm owners or boarders and generally did my best to keep drama down.

Beginner Dressage, Hunter Jumper, Carriage Driving, Sleigh Driving, Green Horse Training, Backing Horses, working with sick and elderly horses. I love to form bonds with the horses that I am working with and watch them learn to trust me so that we may have a more fulfilling experience together.
Type of Ride Work
Beginner Dressage, Hunter Jumper, Flat work, working with green horses and starting horses. I used to go to a lot of shows when I was younger but I have not really shown at all in the past twenty years. I have gone as a groom a few times for friends or employers. I do have extensive knowledge of carriage driving and have taught classes on carriage driving as well as teaching beginner lessons in dressage and hunter jumper.
Competition Details
I have not shown in many years. I have gone as a groom to dressage shows and hunter jumper and eventing shows for employers and friends.
