I have worked at Iowa State University's horse barn during the 2022 foaling/breeding season. In charge of leading mares and foals to stocks for baths, butt cleaning, IV or IM injections, Caslicks, etc. My duties also included tube feeding foals and oral medication/worming for mares. I have had the chance to handle stallions (clean their sheath, collect semen) and hold mares for live cover.

I have experienced a 60 plus baby foaling season from Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses. This was completed at the established Iowa State University horse farm. As well, I have groomed and prepped both long time and fresh off-track studs for live cover breeding.

I am also capable of grooming, stall cleaning, feeding/watering, turnout/in, packing hooves, icing legs, tacking, cleaning around the barn, and organizing!

I have limited riding however am very open and wanting to learn more and advance! Would love to find someone willing to help me grow as a rider as I have the drive to learn! Whether it be english, western, dressage, you name it!
