I am a current student of Post University pursuing a Bachelor of Equine Studies.

I have never officially worked in an equine environment, however through senior year of high school, my friend worked for a barn right across the street from her home. And rather frequently, I'd go with her to work to hang out and help with the horses, as her boss was alright with it. It was about a year I experienced the basics, grooming, clipping, mucking, bedding, and feeding, etc.

I have experience leading a team, as I have been in several leadership roles over the course of my life, both at work and for recreational activities, such as my former position of Secretary for my local 4-H chapter. I also have worked with and shown cattle before for my 4-H and FFA chapters and have experience grooming, clipping, mucking, and keeping livestock living areas tidy, as I have a very sharp eye and attention to detail. I have also handled horses for friends several times in the past.

I have no recent experience riding, other than trail rides in the mountains when I was around 5 - 7. Those taught me the basics of riding but never tacking and the horses the facility put me on were all rather sturdy and reasonably bombproof.

I have never been involved in organizing competitions or competing.
