I spent five years training with an eventing-focused instructor until the pandemic started, and rode multiple times a year in college. I have largely trained in Dressage and basic equitation, though my trainer is in eventing so my education was largely multi-disciplinary. I also have a little experience with jumping.

As a teenager, I also did 4H Western games (pole bending, barrel racing, keyhole, jumping figure-8, 4-in-line barrels), and dabbled in reining for a summer. I wouldn't say I have one preferred discipline, rather I'm comfortable in many settings and always seeking to learn more!

I have experience riding horses with tendencies to buck, horses with training problems, green horses (mostly ottbs), and rehabbing horses from injury.

Most recently I have spent 2 summers wrangling in NW Montana, which has given me skills more oriented to large-scale equine operations, though I believe my abilities would apply to a smaller operation as well.
