Yes! I have worked in a show barn for about 6 years, from the age of 13-19, where I felt the barn was my second home. In addition to helping work out thehorses by lunging or riding, I had to clean stalls, feed animals, help tack up horses, and lead groups into the arena.

I have spent time around foals, stallions, and owned my gelding for several years . Although I am a very organized and tidy individual, I am not afraid of getting my hands dirty! I am a quick and efficient worker who is very results driven and takes pride in her work.

I have ridden many different types of horses including fiesty ponies, retired race horses, showjumpers, trail horses, and I had a wonderful opportunity to ride Jacaré owned by Pedro Torres of Portugal.

I have been involved in several competitions, with both school horses and later my own horse. I have helped organize competitions when with Culver Academy and the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA), as well as competed in flatwork and hunter-jumper shows. Additionally, I helped prep horses for the show ring.
