- I would love to be able to bring at least 1 horse out of 3 when I relocate. My dealbreaker is that I need dog friendly housing provided or to locate it nearby. I have 7 personal dogs—yes it sounds crazy. All but 1 are seniors and perfectly mannered.
Qualifications
First hand business management experience, management and care of up to 26 horses in a professional setting

Duties of Current Occupation
Management and operation of a dog daycare, training, and boarding facility. I am looking to relocate as soon as I can nail down dog friendly housing and space for at least one of my horses. 3/5 of my horses have been used in lesson programs.
Equine Work Experience
I have been around horses personally and professionally on a consistent basis for 15 years! I grew up immersed in the Standardbred racing industry here in Maine, learning all about horse care and the details surrounding the sport and the training of trotters and pacers. I have worked at summer camps caring for horses and teaching children how to groom and ride. I currently own 5 horses and 4 donkeys, all of whom were rescued or adopted save for one off-the-track Standardbred. 3 of my horses are formerly wild mustangs and taught me SO many invaluable skills and techniques over the last handful of years. I briefly managed a 26-head hunter/jumper stable while also attending as the owner's personal groom, but was burnt out by being the only staff member to feed and care for all equines, teach beginner lessons, and attend as a groom. I then opened my own boarding facility where I managed close to 24 horses, a handful of staff, and lived out a life-long dream before the property sold.
Specialities
Equine facility management, general labor, general horse care, pasture and ground maintenance, equine nutrition, inventory, grooming, stall and paddock cleaning, general repairs, electric fencing MASTER at this point, staffing and training, natural horsemanship, extroverted personality, fun and friendly with all, theater and summer camp experience with children and adults, equine first aid, tractor use, dragging of arenas and pastures, trail maintenance, general landscaping, I LOVE mowing
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden OTTSTBs, backed mustangs for their first rides and beyond, as well as some schoolmasters when I was taking lessons. I have experience in starting horses at many different ages, such as Standardbreds at 14 as well as my first mustang filly at 3-4. My experience is primarily on the ground and with flatwork, and has been an eclectic balance of both english and western over the years. I have certainly ridden problem horses and green horses, as a few of mine were in those categories!
