Qualifications
I have completed US pony Club exams through C-3. I have taken clinics and lessons fron the likes of Christophe Hess,Matt Ryan,Jean-Paul Pare, and Joanne Rasmussen. From these experiences I understand the importance of quality work at home through systematic work of the horse starting on the ground building to confidence with a rider.

Duties of Current Occupation
Knowing the individual personalities of the horses in my charge. Guaging their daily progress in training. Scheduling farrier, vet appt. weekly/daily checks of supplies. Ordering supplies in a frugal manner. Managing staff and staff schedules.
Equine Work Experience
I have equine experience that ranges from foaling to finishing horses. I have worked at a large animal veterinary practice and a small animal veterinary practice. As a Barn Manager I have run more than one 30+ horse boarding facilities in Maryland. As mentioned previously, I have extensive stallion experience and I have worked with horses from foals and young stock to finished Grand Prix horses. I also currently carry certification in equine sports massage therapy.
Specialities
Eventing is my passion and enjoy competing in that disipline the most. In my current position I teach both adults and children. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and imparting solid horsemanship to others. I also have experience in the field of breeding, including foaling out and handling stallions. I can also repair tack and do saddle fitting. Though I am not a Master Saddler I can successfully reflect and adjust saddles.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience in basic exercising all the way to schooling young horses. I have experience up to second level dressage work and up to prelim eventing. I have extensive experience in reconditioning from injury or lay off and am very good at horses typically considered "difficult". I am a quiet but firm rider who is not intimidated by a horse's antics.
Competition Details
I have succesfully competed in the hunter/jumper ring up to 3'6, competed to Training level in Eventing. In Dressage I have competed to First level and schooled to Second level.
