Currently getting my Master of Education in Equestrian Education

Experience with foaling out a variety of mares form the MU owned mares to high dollar client mares. Experience with starting foals including halter training, leading, trailer loading and desensitizing to various objects such as tarps, clippers and grooming vacuum. Experience with marketing horses for the annual MU horse auction, including preparing horses for pictures and videos, pedigree research, showing and communicating with potential buyers. Also first aid experience including wound care, foal care and detecting illness. As barn staff I helped maintain the Equine facility to include fixing fence, making the facility horse safe, restocking supplies (hay, shavings, grain, teaching supplies), moving horses as needed and doing some DIYing. As a shift supervisor I led my feed shifts in health checks of the MU herd, cleaning of stalls and other chores, and feeding the herd.

I am compassionate, dedicated, and hard working. I have ample experience with supervising, management and working independently. I’m good at problem solving and thinking outside the box. I’m great at working within a team or independently. I have good interpersonal relation skills. I am good with operations and client support. I can perform quality inspection and adhere to security procedures. I have a positive attitude and excel in supervising, delegating, and teaching.
