Equine Work Experience
I began as a volunteer at therapeutic riding center in Pennsylvania in 2015. I was a side aide and horse leader for special needs individuals. I also groomed horses and helped with the many barn chores including mucking, cleaning pastures, repairing fences, maintenance and repair of the facilities, photography and videography. I redesigned their website and created an online shop for the center.
In 2019 I was hired as one of the part time barn managers. I still do all of the above and have added equine massage practitioner and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (PATH International certification) to my arsenal. I also design the center's Holiday cards and horse birthday invitations. I'm pretty sure there are things I am forgetting, because at a small non-profit one tends to do countless things beyond one's job description.
