Stable hand, Groom, Student, Tacked up horses and helped riders get ready for lessons, Worked the lesson barn, Showed Competitively, Helped with some horse training, Helped lead my IEA team through high school.

I’ve been riding since I was 3 years old. The style of riding of done the most is Hunter/Jumpers/Equitation. I did do eventing for 3 years. I also have worked in barns since I was 13. I’ve ridden many types of horses and have showed a lot. One of the parts of riding that I enjoy most is the different types of personalities horses have and what I can learn from them. Partially why I have enjoyed my time involved in the equestrian world is because I really make an effort to learn from horses and coaches so I can be the best rider possible.

I have worked with foals before by introducing them to different environments, turning them in and out, grooming, and helping them get used to the feeling of tack. I have not worked with stallions. I helped lead my IEA team along with being one of the lead workers of a lesson barn to help ensure my trainers lessons were tacked up, on time, and safe. I have had experience with high turnout.

I have experience with flatwork including some dressage training. My passion is Hunters/Jumpers. I’ve ridden many different horses, young and old. I worked with a 7 year old mate for 2 years which was a challenge. I helped here build muscle and worked her up to competing. I also worked with a gelding when I entered the Hunter, Jumper world in high school that I learned a lot on and was successful. I love riding all types of horses with different personalities, I learn a lot from them.

I’ve competed a local show circuit called the Syracuse PHA circuit but I was ranked in USEF. I have also been to different shows and have been incharge of ensuring my horse is clean and ready. I am able to pull manes and clip horses as well. I can braid manes although I am a little rusty and may need some help relearning, but I pick up fast.
