Equine Work Experience

My equine experience includes acting as the assistant coach/manager of the Hartwick College (Oneonta, NY) equestrian team, and interim coach for the SUNY Oneonta equestrian team coach. I was also employed as a riding instructor and barn manager, teaching lessons ranging from beginner to advanced at New Horizon Stables (Schenectady NY). I have groomed for show barns at HITS (Saugerties NY), as well as local shows in the upstate NY/Capital District area. My experience also includes working as horse show night watch employee, which involved monitoring show horses at various horse shows throughout the northeast, as well as WEF, Duke and RMI horse shows in Raleigh NC, and Traders Point in Zionsville IN. Most recently, I have been teaching lessons, ranging from beginner to advanced and from age 5 to adult. I was also acting as assistant coach for Boston College, and coaching IEA teams. I have also acted as an announcer and ring starter at local horse shows in the upstate NY area.
