No college related qualification just real life education and work experience.

I am the unspoken barn manager, managing everything from extra curricular events/ lessons at the barn, teaching horsemanship and help run summer camps. I assist with lessand I am the lead feeder and I am here for whatever needs done with the horses.

I have western lifestyle and riding experience from growing up and putting myself into lessons as a teen. I have now worked in a professional equestrian environment for 3+ year for 2 farms. And have gained intermediate English riding skills and knowledge. I have experience with horses & ponies of all ages and ranges of temperaments and abilities. Farm hand work, horse care, feeding are the basis of my daily requirements as well as education for the clients/public. With my farm & equestrian career I have also paired it with my profession in event coordinating and management background. I have implemented new lessons and events for fundraising that were quite successful in the community. Hosted and ran events at both local barns and equestrian event centers. I have elevated our summer camp programs introducing more horsemanship education and organization to the camps. I enjoy working with kids and adults to onboard them into the care horses and basics of riding.

I recently worked for and was laid off due to closures at and equestrian event center. I planned, hire and ran event for the space. Everything from concerts, markets, clinics and parties. Not every event was horse related but I was the equestrian on the team for such events. I also currently work part time for a primarily English beginner and intermediate equestrian barn were I work and live with 27 horse in mine and the owners care. I do horsemanship & summer camps here as well.

I ride english and western. I have in the past rode green horses that were not the problem horses. I ride on the flat and on trails. I do not have experience in starting a horse in riding, but with horsemanship and ground work. I have an understanding of most behavioral issues and have applied some therapeutic methods for getting horses accounted with their new surroundings. I am a beginner/intermediate rider. I am versatile in my riding and have an appreciation for both.

I do not compete. But if I could do it all over again I would have loved to when I was younger.
