Duties of Current Occupation

I previously worked on a Gypsy Breeding Farm for 7 years, training and showing Stallions, Mares, Geldings and foals. Besides that, I have a lifetime of experience with horses as I grew up with a family of horse lovers.

Equine Work Experience

I interned with Ken McNabb for a year in Wyoming in 2014. I also trained Gypsy Vanners for 7 years as mentioned above. I competed on a riding team in high school through IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Assoc.) I was a 10 year member of 4-H and was also a Youth Ambassador of the American Quarter Horse Society. In 2012, I was a recipient of a weanling through AQHA's Young Horse Development Project. This project required you to raise and train a weanling Quarter Horse on your own as a youth. There were only 14 recipients throughout the US and the goal was to show our horses in the Ranch Heritage Challenge when they turned 5. I was the only one that competed. I traveled from Vermont to Colorado for this competition. The next year I traveled to Oklahoma for the Ranch Heritage Championships.

Specialities

I have worked with all breeds, ages and genders. I have experience with many disciplines as well. I have competed in Western pleasure, Ranch Riding, Cow Sorting & Cutting, Reining, Dressage, English Pleasure, Jumping (small scale), Trail Riding and even Driving!

Type of Ride Work

I have competed in Western pleasure, Ranch Riding, Cow Sorting, Cutting, Reining, Barrel Racing, Dressage, English Pleasure, Jumping (small scale), Trail Riding and even Driving! My biggest accomplishment is receiving 3rd place in the Versatile Horse & Rider Competition at the Equine Affaire in 2022!
