I studied equine sciences for 4 years These classes included stable management, farrier sciences, equine nutrition, equine first aid, anatomy and physiology, equine reproduction, horse showing and judging, and more.
Duties of Current Occupation
I worked at Healing Strides of Va for three years as an instructor, feeder, and caregiver.
Equine Work Experience
I have owned horses my whole life and showed growing up in SWVHJA. I was on the Emory & Henry IHSA and IDA teams in college and showed regularly. I studied Equine Science for 4 years.
Specialities
I have led many group lessons and camps.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden and showed hunter, dressage, and equitation. I have dabbled in western, cross country and liberty.
Competition Details
I competed in BRHF, SWVHJA, and IEA shows in my youth. In college I was an active member of the IHSA and IDA teams. I judged a few local unrated shows in college. I have been a groom a few times at rated shows at the Virginia Horse Center.
