Specialities
I am an avid outdoors lover and spend my spare time besides horseback riding, rock climbing, backpacking, surfing, snowboarding, skiing and exploring the great outdoors!
Type of Ride Work
I am an experienced rider of 23 years and have successfully trained and compete my own gelding through the Preliminary levels of Eventing on the East Coast. I focus all my riding on correct body mechanics so as to fairly communicate to the horse what I need from him. I emphasize correct posture and balance to riders and focus on the dressage basics of straightness, rhythm, balance, and relaxation with all disciplines of horses that I work with.
Competition Details
Competed own horse successfully through the preliminary eventing level. Trained and competed multiple horses for high success in the US vaulting discipline. Other hunter/jumper, eventing, and dressage show experience. I currently own a 12 year old Hanoverian gelding whom I was given a few years ago. He is very talented and I hope to compete him next season.
