Qualifications
Riding master 3 from Meredith Manor.
Duties of Current Occupation
I ride dressage, clean stalls, groom, feed the horses and do other various barn chores 5 days a week. I, along with my Riding Master 3 Certification have training in level 2 Farrier, level 2 Training class, level 1 Teaching, and level 1 Massage
Equine Work Experience
Level two training- I can lunge, handle stallions, handle young stock, natural horsemanship that we called at my school heeding. It is a natural way to bend the horse to your command. Level two farrier- I can trim and clean up the horses hooves. I unfortunately did not have the pleasure to learn how to shoe but I do know how to remove them. Level one massage therapy- I know how to massage the whole horse. This believe it or not can let the horse go better when training. Level one teaching- I know the basics of how to teach other riders how to ride, but being honest this is not my strong suit. I also know a little about saddle fit and where generally the saddle should be on the horses back. Also where I could be pinching. I worked at a place in Georgia for a short period of time and learned how to give medical treatment.
Specialities
Ground work, handling stallions and babies, farrier work, and massage therapy.
Type of Ride Work
Graduated from college, I came out with my Riding Master 3 in dressage. I can do walk, trot, canter and do leg yields, shoulder in and shoulder four. I know a little about western to.
Competition Details
Every quarter in my school we would have two shows; a mock show and a end of the quarter show. The end of the quarter show is where a judge from a different state would come out and judge us on what we have been learning. We would get placed accordingly.
